A new series of paintings by Pete McKee: Trainers For All Seasons.
"With this collection of paintings I wanted to showcase four unique trainer styles that have stood the test of time and hold a special place in football casual culture.
The trainers that made my shortlist are: the legendary Samba; the ultimate casual classic, the Trimm Trab; the German-made 1982 Hamburg; and, as much a sports shoe as it is a fashion staple, the versatile Stan Smith.
I matched each trainer to the season that best suited its unique colour way and paired them all with a classic Tango football." – Pete McKee
