This print is from a series of four works, all of which share titles with songs named after women. This work was created leading up to Pete’s 2021 Thud, Crackle, Pop online exhibition which celebrated vinyl and reflects the artist’s love of music and records.

'In today’s world, music is broken down into digital waves which are propelled into the atmosphere and zapped into mini wireless earplugs. These are then bunged into our ears so we can run around like headless chickens in our increasingly busy lives. Let’s take time to sit back, wrap ourselves in a blanket of analog sound, and embrace the crackles, pops, and pauses between the noise.'
