Finding My Identity – Original Painting
Description
"I’ve discovered indie music and jangly pop. Here this character is searching through the racks for the latest cool records that The NME have talked about.
"Under his arm is Orange Juice’s first album: ‘You Can’t Hide Your Love Forever’. Like the album it was inspired by, The Velvet Underground’s Nico album, Orange Juice’s album has also inspired countless bands in the decades since to pick up guitars and create beautiful jangly guitar music.
"You will also notice the Levi’s denim jacket with a few button badges on it; a nice pair of Levi’s 501s with the crucial turn-ups that expose the sock; a pair of oily Doc Martens; and, between the legs, my beloved blue Adidas sports bag."
This painting is set to feature in an upcoming exhibition this November. It will be required to be on display for 12 months from November 2024. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding this before purchasing.
