Dorothy's Friend
Description
Pete has always loved depicting, well, love and he perfectly captures this in Dorothy’s Friend. This image was also used to create a mural in Birmingham’s amazing Custard Factory which is known for its incredible graffiti art.
'I really like painting couples in love, especially couples who grow old together. I think there is something so heartwarming about seeing partners in their later years who still have so much warmth and respect for one another. Within these paintings I try to capture warm and tender moments in which the couple, if only for a few moments, forget the world around them as they get lost in each other’s embrace.'
