Description
This well-loved image highlights man’s best friend’s mischievous nature. The artist has painted Frank the whippet – a character that appears in many of Pete's images. In 2018, Pete recreated Dog Biscuits as a mural in Sheffield’s industrial Kelham Island area.
'As my biscuit of choice, I chose chocolate hobnobs simply because I think they are the best biscuit in the world. I also painted Frank eating these chocolatey delicacies because all hounds seem to want to do is get their paws on any kind of human food going – usually the worst kind for them. It definitely makes for some expensive trips to the vets, but it’s so hard to get annoyed at those adorable guilty eyes; especially when they’re peeking out above something they’ve stuck their muzzle in.'
