My Favourite 7" Singles
Description
'My Favourite 7" Singles is based on Pete's first-ever record box. – one of his most treasured possessions. This image reflects youth and the passion and excitement felt when first discovering music. To the left of the box is a pencil, used to write songs on a mixtape cassette. 'Gino' has been written on the side of the record box, a small joke that references youthful naivety. 'Gino' actually refers to the song 'Geno' by Dexy's Midnight Runners. Pete chose to spell the title of the song incorrectly.
'When I was a kid, I would always spell at least one of the bands incorrectly on my record box in my haste to scrawl a tribute to them.'
