Small Talks with Pete McKee - Warp Film CEO Mark Herbert

Sheffield is a city bursting with artists, musicians, actors, film makers, and sporting heroes. Pete wants to celebrate these brilliant people and their contribution to Sheffield by inviting them to the McKee Gallery this summer for a brand new event called 'Small Talks'. 

'Small Talks' is an opportunity to hear a live conversation between Pete and his inspirational guests. It will be an insight into their lives, creative process, career highlights, their relationship with Sheffield and more, all from the relaxed setting of Pete's Gallery Leah's Yard. You will also have the opportunity to ask your own questions to Pete and his guest. 

On the 22nd of July, are delighted to be welcoming Mark Herbert for the the first 'Small Talks' event! Mark is a critically acclaimed television and film producer, CEO of Warp Films and South Yorkshire lad responsible for iconic British TV and film such as 'This is England', 'Four Lions', 'Submarine' and many more. Most recently Mark was the executive producer on the hit Netflix series 'Adolescence' which went on to win a multitude of awards including an Emmy and four Bafta's!

This event is perfect for fans of Warp Films, budding film and tv creators, and anyone wanting to learn more about the history of Sheffield's creative industry.

Location: McKee Gallery, Cambridge Street, S1 4HP
Time: Doors open at 6:30 PM, talk starts at 7:00 PM til 8:00 PM. Drinks can be purchased beforehand at Hop Hide out and Barks Wine in Leah's Yard

• Suitable for ages 18+
• Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the McKee Gallery.
• Doors open at 6:30pm and the talk will begin promptly at 7:00pm. Late arrivals may only be admitted at a suitable break in the event.
• Seating is unallocated and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Drinks purchased from Hop Hideout and Barks Wine in Leah's Yard may be brought into the talk.
• This event will include an audience Q&A. Questions are subject to time restrictions and at the discretion of Pete.
