Saturday 9 April - Moor Market Sheffield
The team behind Pete’s summer holiday themed show, ‘6 Weeks to Eternity’ are taking over a stall at the Moor Market in Sheffield for the day and inviting you to bring your old photos of the 6 weeks holiday and to share memories of those lost summers.
Everyone is welcome to attend and all you need to do is bring in a photo of your favourite memory of the 6 weeks holiday. The team will then scan these into the computer whilst you wait. Whether your holidays were spent bored at home and getting up to mischief or on holiday at the coast with the family, Pete would love to hear your memories.
All the photos that are collected will be put on display at Pete’s upcoming exhibition ‘6 Weeks To Eternity’ at Magna in Rotherham this May. The exhibition is his biggest to date and will feature new works and interactive installations unlike anything he has done before. The show is free to attend and will be held for two days only, 14-15 May.
Pete said: “We want as many people as possible to get involved and to share their own personal stories and photographs with us ahead of the exhibition, so we can make it really personal and take people down memory lane.”
The first 100 people to bring their holiday memories to the Snap Shop will receive a special 6 Weeks poster signed by Pete. 1 per visitor while stocks last.
The Snap Shop will also be hosting some other nostalgic Saturday afternoon activities including a 5-a-side Subbuteo tournament which everyone is welcome to take part in. This is free and will take place between 1-2pm on the day*. If you would like to take part please email us your team name to pete@petemckee.com. There will be the ultimate football prize on offer for the winner.

The Multi-Coloured Snap Shop will be located next to the food court in the Moor Market and will be open from 9am - 4pm on Saturday 9 April only.
