A Month of Sundays Gallery is offering an exciting new opportunity. To work at the gallery’s forthcoming exhibition, ‘THIS CLASS WORKS’, based in Sheffield. We are currently looking to fill two temporary roles: an Exhibition Assistant and a Ticket Sales Assistant.


Exhibition Assistant

Temporary fixed term contract for 19 days throughout July 9th - 31st

£8 per hour

We are looking for an Exhibition Assistant who can be a professional and informed point of contact for visitors during the exhibition. You will help ensure each person’s visit is an enjoyable experience. You will assist the existing team with setting up the exhibition, working on the exhibition ticket office, ushering people around certain parts of the exhibition, general housekeeping and working in the exhibition shop.

Essential Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working within the arts and events sector.

You will be required to familiarise yourself with the exhibition’s artwork and be prepared to provide visitors with information about this if required.

You will focus at all times on delivering excellent customer service, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail at all times while being professional and courteous.

You will have initiative, a common sense approach and will enjoy meeting and interacting with large groups of people.

You will have experience of working in a retail environment.

Working dates and hours will be spread out over the 9th - 31st of July. Candidates must be available to work during all of these dates.

Ticket Sales Assistant

Temporary fixed term contract for 10 days throughout July 14th - 31st

£8 per hour

We are looking for a Ticket Sales Assistant who can be a professional and informed point of contact for visitors during the exhibition. You will be responsible for working at the box office, taking people’s tickets for entry, selling tickets and welcoming visitors.

Essential Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working within the arts and events sector.

You will focus at all times on delivering excellent customer service, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail at all times while being professional and courteous.

You will have initiative, a common sense approach and will enjoy meeting and interacting with large groups of people.

You will have experience of working in a retail environment.

Working dates and hours will be spread out over 14th - 31st July. Candidates must be available to work during all of these dates.
