Paul Smith x Pete McKee
‘Debris Of My Well-Spent Youth’ limited edition bag
Available exclusively at Pete’s pop-up exhibition in Nottingham on the 21st November at the Broadway Gallery.

Artist Pete McKee is delighted to share the details of a new collaboration with his favourite British fashion designer Sir Paul Smith. ‘Debris Of My Well-Spent Youth’ is a new artwork Pete created especially for this project and his pop-up in Nottingham, Paul’s home city. It is inspired by Paul’s love of collecting and McKee’s love of the simple overlooked items from his youth.
“When I knew I was coming back to Nottingham I wanted to create something special to celebrate, so I reached out to Paul with the idea for this bag. We have worked on a few collaborations over the years and I was delighted when he said yes. I wanted to commemorate some quintessential British items that you might find in the bottom of your bag, if you’re from a certain generation. I know Paul loves collecting and have had the pleasure of him showing me some of the wonderful things he owns and has been sent over the years. So there are some nods to Paul in this image and to Nottingham too if you can spot them.” – Pete McKee
Only 150 bags have been produced by Paul Smith and will be available from 11am on 21st November from McKee Nottingham only. (Full opening hours and dates below).
