McKee Classics: 'Bread and Butter'

As the actual British summer holidays seem to be resigned to a distant memory this year I thought i'd highlight one of the simple pleasures of the seaside, whether it's raining or not, and that is the humble sit down Fish n Chip dinner.
If you don't have a favourite restaurant to go straight to in your resort it can be quite stressful trying to chose the right one, are the net curtains dirty? Do they sell other stuff, like pizza? Are the table cloths plastic or cotton? And most important, are they busy?
Once the decision is made and you are sat down you sit in silent anticipation waiting for the waitress to take your order.. haddock, chips and peas a pot of tea and extra bread. The extra bread is important, they rarely give you enough and it's cut the worst way to make butties... triangular!! but that's a small detail.
Now there's a short wait while the food arrives, enough time to view the related bygone fishing photos on the wall and the polite hand written 'don't do' messages from the management.
What's your favourite seaside sit down Fish n Chip restaurant?
